Melissa is a successful career woman who escaped the small town she grew up in. That is, until she is laid off and forced to move back in with her overbearing parents. Follow Melissa journey as she searches to find herself and her long repressed sexual desires.

Sample Of What’s Inside!

I was unable to break eye contact, so fascinated by the expansion of his pupils; that gleaming darkness that seemed as though it would pull me right in and never release me.

As my underwear reached my feet, Alex gently lifted one of my legs, then the other, before tossing the pale cotton to one side. Except for tan holdups and black heels, I was naked from the waist down.

His face was still tilted up, staring at me with an incongruous mix of fierce, almost violent, passion and warm affection. Suddenly, his head thrust forward and he began scattering open-mouthed kisses over the hard curve of my hipbone.

“Oh, God,” I muttered, head flopping back and hitting the door with a clunk that, any other time, would have been painful.

Flown By The Billionaire 2 edition by Carla Davis Romance eBooks

I was torn between 1 & 2 stars for this, and decided to be generous because for the most part the writing isn't bad. Dialogue is okay, except during what should be steamy scenes, but I'll get to that in a minute.

The basic premise is that a successful 20-something has been downsized and had to move back home. Her parents are very old fashioned and think she should have settled down with a good man, because apparently married couples never have to struggle. She was raised very Catholic and has never been able to enjoy sex because of the guilt. In her thoughts, she points out that her brother's refusal to go to church and happily living in sin lifestyle seems perfectly acceptable to their parents because he's a man. I can completely see her need to get away. So, our shero has nagging parents, expectation issues, low self-esteem, and misc guilt.

Enter the private flight attendant job. She and the big boss have an instant connection and spend several weeks worth of flights chit chatting and getting to know one another. Yay for relationship building.

Now, the smut - yes, there's some sex somewhere in this book. Terminology, however, left a bit to be desired.
These are not direct quotes, but the terms are - He draws his forefinger through her distended lips. She worries about his slightly curved shaft with its bulbous, circumcised head that's pink and glistening on top of an eight inch length with a winding, bulging vein. (I know that was kind of a run on sentence, and I STILL managed to leave out a few descriptive words.) On top of these rather unromantic descriptions, our lovers are groaning "argh" & "ugh" all over the place. Please, just let them moan & groan. Don't try to voice it for us - it makes it sound so painful!

This SHOULD have been a good book. I liked the summary, but this was practically a short story and still dragged in places. Also, I thought the ending lacked a lot of resolution. Fortunately, I got it on a free sale, because if I had paid $3 for a 35 page book that doesn't really end I would have gotten a refund. At $3 for 35 pages, readers deserve an ending. If this is the beginning of a serial, it ought to be listed as such.

Adult read for adults who are in to the series recommend highly can't wait for the next one of the series a very good read from start to finish
Great read if...you enjoy romance stories, drama, small town meets big city, billionaire stories, flight stories, and prequels to larger series. (I have not read the rest of the series, but from this alone I was not interested.)
